Qualifications
- B.S. in Engineering or Construction Management
- Minimum 15+ years engineering experience in an industrial setting
- Professional Engineering license preferred, but not required
- Working knowledge of industrial engineering and construction
- Proficient in and experience with scheduling projects
- Proficient with computerized project management tools
- Able to perform effectively in a fast-paced work environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to supervise others
Responsibilities
- Supervise project staff including recommendations relating to the selection, training, and performance monitoring of same.
- Accountable for adherence to Client policies, project expenditures and implementation.
- Accountable for safety aspects of the project.
- Determine planning, scheduling and project coordination and is accountable for project results.
- Develop front-end documentation and execution plans for engineering studies and multi-discipline projects
- Direct development of project scope, design, drawings, and field support primarily for refinery shutdown and general maintenance projects
- Direct resource planning, cost estimating, and scheduling functions and coordinate with outside management, engineering, and technical specialists
- Simultaneously lead several projects
- Provide technical overview of projects and maintain standards of quality
- Coordinate the technical work of other disciplines
- Cultivate and maintain positive client relationships.
